About Fife Youth Radio

Fife Youth Radio is an online radio station, based in Leven, Fife. We have our own studios in Leven where we broadcast to the world wide web. We have a number of voluntary presenters that are interested in the station and all have their own show. Anyone can apply to be a presenter and get involved.

The main aim of the radio station is for young people to listen to and find out whats going on in their area, for example: youth projects, sports clubs, youth clubs and many more. Young people are always complaining about having nothing to do, well our aim is to change that.

Fife Youth Group

Fife Youth Group collaborates with young people to create exciting youth work provision that is personal to its members. Fife Youth Group is all about giving young people the skills to become responsible citizens and active members of their communities. The main aim is to raise young people's potential, raise their aspirations, self confidence and self esteem. This is achieved through youth projects that are run by young people for young people with guidance from Fife Youth Group.

Explosion Youth Project

Explosion Youth is an exciting and innovative project that is responding to the needs of local young people because of the current economical climate. Explosion Youth will work with young people to make them more employable. These skills learnt from a range of media and acting projects will enable young people to increase their communication skills, using their inititiave and becoming self motivated, working under pressure and to deadlines, organisational skills and team working.
